Korean make up and skincare haul

2:14:00 PM

Hello everyone!

I'm finally back from my trip. Yes, I know, I'm super late - I promised to be back around July 14th, and now it's more than 10 days later. It's because we went to Riga later as well, plus my boyfriend stayed at my house in my hometown and I wanted to spend more time with him. Also, it was hard for me to find motivation to write, for whatever reason... Anyways, now I'm back and I have some new ideas to write about!

First of all, it was my birthday on July 16th. I've got some amazing gifts, and today I would like to share one of them with you. My best friend, Ema (♥), who is currently studying in Korea, sent me a package full of Korean make up. I was amazed! I love make up, I love trying new stuff and I have just recently read a book all about Korean beauty. Best timing ever :). Once again, thank you so much for knowing me so well!

First of all - just look at these. Aren't these the cutest socks you have ever seen? I know, right?! I can't make myself wear them, I just want to stare at them all the time and hug them, haha. Asian socks are just the best.

Sheet masks

Sheet masks are getting more and more popular here as well, but I still haven't had a chance to use them properly. I think I have got this kind of a mask once from a Korean friend, but it was a long time ago. Now I got these and, again, I even love just staring at them. They are so pretty, that they even make me hungry! I have already used the one by Banila Co. yesterday and I really enjoyed it! Can't wait to use the ones by Innisfree.

Prime Primer Classic by Banila Co.

Next is a primer from Banila Co. It says Smooth & Sebum Control Formula on the box. I have used it once and it was really nice, smoothed out my skin just like it claims to do. I'm not so sure about sebum control and obviously it didn't make my make up last longer (face primers usually don't do that, they are used to make foundation apply and look better), but I enjoyed using it a lot and look forward to using it again.

Lip Syrup by Clio

Obviously my friend knows how much I love lip products. This is the first product I have tried and I've been using it ever since. It looks kinda dark on the photo (probably because of the lighting and because I'm a crappy photographer) but it's more of a translucent gloss with a slight tint.

It's a great product for everyday, especially for the summer, when I tend to wear more glosses that lipsticks. The only thing about it I don't really like is the super sweet scent, but I can get over that. The shade I got is called 6 Naked Rose and it's my favorite type of a rosy nude (hence the name).

Dr. Mascara Fixer by Etude House

It's basically an eyelash primer. I have never tried any of those, so I'm excited to have it. I have only tried it once, but I can already tell it does make my lashes bigger and more voluminous. It also makes my mascara harder to remove at the end of the day, so it probably would make it stay longer as well. I don't really have an opinion yet, so I'm just going to continue using it and update you later!

My Lash Serum by Etude House

Another type of a product I've never tried before, which makes me even happier to have it - a lash serum. I'm using it for a few days now, but obviously you wouldn't see a difference that fast, so I guess we just have to wait and see if it works!

Kill Cover Cushion Foundation by Clio

I've been forcing myself not to buy a cushion foundation for months now. And good thing I didn't buy any, because I have this now! I was so surprised and grateful when I saw this in the package. I don't even want to check the price (♥♥♥).

I have used it once now and loved it a lot - it was a perfect color (I was scared it would be too dark when I saw 03 on the back of the package - I always use 01 or 02 shades), had great coverage (I just had to use a little) and was just a pleasure to use. It also stayed nicely all throughout the day. Yes, I got shiny, but I always do, it's just the way it is. Anyways, I'm really excited to use it again.

With all these testers I got, I almost felt like I got a package from Sephora ;). I love testers and I'm just as excited to use them as to use actual products!

1. Prime Primer Classic by Banila Co. - same primer as the full size :)
2. Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask by Innisfree - reminds me of a mast by Glam Glow
3. The Green Tee Seed Serum by Innisfree
4. Morning Gel Cleanser and Fresh Moisture Foam in Orange Lemon Grapefruit by Etude House
5. Face Blur by Etude House - it says smoothing, pore hiding and tone up
6. V-V Vitalizing Serum by Banila Co. - Firming, Lifting and Plumping
7. Perfect Cleansing Oil by Etude House - I forgot to include it in the photo - oops!

And... that is all for today. I will try to write more blog posts in the nearest future, especially as I might be going to Germany next week and I'm not sure will I have time nor will I take my computer with me. I really hope you enjoyed this post and you'll forgive me the delay. See you in my next post! xoxo
