Make up I got for my birthday - eyeshadow palettes (part 2)

Hey guys!

A big change is coming. I decided I no longer want to write in English, at least not JUST in English. I've been thinking about it for a while. I know not many people are reading this at all, and if you are, you're probably someone I know. I've also received some feedback and I know there are people who want me to write in Polish - which is my first language. So I decided that after this blog post, I'll try writing in Polish and we'll see how it will go. If I'll like it and, most importantly, if you'll like it. I'm also going to add a feature to my layout, that will allow you to translate everything from Polish to English. If there's anyone reading this - please let me know what you think!

Now let's get to what this blog post is really about - my new eyeshadow palettes :). I've got two new palettes for my birthday - one from my best friend Ema, and the other one from myself (there was a sale, of course).

This one I got from my friend. She knew I've been eyeing it for a while now, I guess :). I've really wanted to try out Zoeva eyeshadows, and I'm not disappointed. Both mattes and shimmers have amazing pigmentation, blend easily and are a pleasure to work with. Also, the shades are just so beautiful! I love every single one of them and even though the orange one is what caught my eye at first, I really can't choose which one is my favourite now that I've tried them all! I'm absolutely obsessed with this palette and can't thank you enough, Ema!

It contain six mattes, three shimmers and one eyeshadow with specs of glitter. All of the matte browns are very warm and will go well with the orange shimmers. It also contains a light gold shade that will enhance my blue eyes beautifully, and a puple-y chocolate shade that I'm surprised to love just as much as all of the other ones, as I usually don't like these kinds of shades. It also contains a white and a transition shade. I would add a shimmery highlight shade and it would be a perfect warm palette, but it's not like I don't have any of those!

The palette I bought for myself is very expensive, so I wouldn't expect anyone to give it to me as a gift. Also, it was on sale (for a day), and I just had to. Just like the Zoeva one, this baby didn't disappoint me as well. All of the shades are stunning, it contains so many mattes and they blend like a dream. I love Henna and Sandalwood for everyday - I could just have it as a duo and be perfectly happy. I'm also amazed by the metallic shades. I've only used Angelic and 24k on my eyes so far, but I can already say - they look beautiful! The foiled shadows seem to be a little hard to work with, but they are definitely worth it!

I saw that she came out with a new palette just now, and I already want to get my hands on it :). Obviously, I won't buy it (not yet), as I have so many new eyeshadows to play with and unfortunately I'm on a no-buy till December 6th!

If you want a more in depth review on any of these palettes, let me know!

That is all I have for today. Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed! Please comment your opinion on me switching to writing in Polish! Also, have you tried any on these palettes? What do you think? What do you want me to write about next? Let me know!

Sending my love,
